BANE, BEFORE AND AFTER

Ah, redubbing. It could be considered the Bane of The Dark Knight Rises. For those of us who were giggling hysterically or straining to hear every time Tom Hardy’s Bane recited a line in The Dark Knight Rises, this video showing the before and after audio of Gotham’s reckoning might quell our grunts and groans. "So that’s what that feels like" - a Dark Knight Rises review

The Dark Knight Rises concludes Christopher Nolan’s epic trilogy of Gotham’s caped crusader. Many had lofty expectations for this film, especially given the good run that superhero movies have had recently. It’s been a few years since the events of The Dark Knight. Harvey Dent’s death has bolstered law enforcement in Gotham City, resulting in crime being at an all-time low. Bruce Wayne has become a hermit (if men who live in mansions and have butlers can be considered hermits) and has effectively retired after making Batman take the fall for Dent’s demise. He’s nursing an injured leg and a broken heart, wallowing in misery over the death of his beloved Rachel Dawes. Unbeknownst to Mr. Wayne, a storm is coming, and he hasn’t long to brood. When a cat burglar breaks into Wayne Manor and makes off with his mother’s pearls, Bruce is forced to step out of hiding and discovers a trail of breadcrumbs leading to a nefarious plan to destroy Gotham City orchestrated by one of the fiercest foes he has ever faced.
